Meet Phillipa Butler
A Chartered Physiotherapist with an MSK specialism. Phillipa has spent her career developing and refining her knowledge and skills and is passionate about movement as medicine. She has almost 20 years of experience teaching Pilates on the Mat and Reformer, she is a 200-hour certified Hatha Yoga instructor and a certified Hypopressives teacher. Phillipa is always keen to bust myths and share evidence-based health information and advice to help her clients and listeners take their health into their own hands. Phillipa believes wholeheartedly that prevention is better than cure and a regular programme of appropriate exercise is the key to a fitter, healthier future. Her work ranges from supporting recovery from illness and injury to improving athletic performance. A difficult menopause transition provoked her deep dive into the short and long-term effects of Menopause and the role of movement to mitigate these effects to help women thrive up to, through and beyond Menopause. All her movement programmes are designed to address the physical and psychological challenges faced by in midlife. Foundational to her approach are improving Posture and alignment, dynamic balance and the strength of muscle and bone. Her movement approaches provide the perfect antidote to the challenges of Midlife, ageing and the detrimental impact of our modern lives.
