"Trust that all the journeys you have taken will lead you to the exact place you are meant to be".
Silken Laumann
My life has been filled with experiences that has led me to being the coach, public speaker and advocate that I am now. My journey started as a synchronized swimmer aiming for the Olympics. From there, I obtained a University degree specializing in Sport Psychology. I became an active travel guide around the world. I worked in Argentina for non-governmental organizations on how to influence environmental health policy. Loving how policy can create social change, I earned a Masters in Public Administration at Queens University. With this education in hand I worked for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Federal Secretariat as a Senior Planner where I started training and dreaming again of Olympic Games. In 2010 I sold everything I owned and pursued this dream. While racing around the world and training with the worlds best, I obtained a Certificate of Sports Nutrition at Simon Fraser University. I began a coaching and sport nutrition consulting company TriWholeHealth. I worked as a Race Director for IRONMAN. I led Age-Group Team Canada to World Championships for Triathlon Canada. In this position I came to realize that all these experiences have led me to where I am now. A coach and a passionate advocate for women's health and performance. Silken was right in telling me to trust. I have arrived at what will now be my life's work.
