Meet Dr. Beth Claxton

Dr. Beth Claxton, OBGYN Board Certified, graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1993. Her education was peppered with abroad medical experiences in Nayarit, Mexico; National Women’s Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand; Colonial Hospital, Suva, Fiji; and Chidamoyo Christian Hospital, Karoi, Zimbabwe. She loves practicing medicine in Northern Arizona. She is driven to find the root cause and realizes that loving her patients improves outcomes. Above all she learned that seeing, listening and believing are the most important medicines. Dr. Claxton is certified by Institute for Functional Medicine, deeply engaged in teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and proudly holds the title of a Certified Yoga (Ayurvedic) Health Coach, and treats women in peri/menopause with bio-identical hormones. Dr. Beth Claxton is passionate about building a community of like-minded, growth-centered, loving women in Northern Arizona who cherish health and wellness and support each other to live wisely, inspired, consciously and connected in their second half of life.
