WHAT IS A METABOLIC OPTIMIZATION Consultation
This consultation is a deep dive into your unique physiology. We start with checking in on your health fundamentals so any changes in training we suggest are based on a foundation that you can adapt to. Next we dive into your nutrition to ensure your body can take on new stress. And then finally, using INSCYD technology we identify a 360 metabolic profile including VO2max, VLaMax, Fatmax. From this data we create your individualized zones (including 70.3 / IRONMAN pacing strategies) so you know exactly how to get the most out of you training.
Is this for YOu?
This consultation is ideal for the performance-minded athlete who wants to finely tune their training and nutrition. You have the ability to push to maximum effort (for 20 seconds, 3 minutes and 12 minutes). You are willing to do physiological assessments. And then from there your data is in our hands and expertise. We do the analysis and provide you with clear recommendations that account for your unique physiology.

HOW WILL IT HELP ME?
Metabolic Optimization Performance Profile connects your unique nourishment and fueling needs to the training that you do. Based on your personal lactate accumulation derived from the INSCYD test, we learn your fat max (at what pace/power you burn highest % of fat) and how much carbohydrate you need at the lower levels of intensity. We use the proven Metabolic Efficiency Training TM philosophy for a full nutrition profile so you know how much and when to fuel your training. Finally, we apply expert knowledge of female physiology to your training and nutrition recommendations because we know #womenarenotsmallmen!
YOUR END RESULT: PERFORMING AND PLAYING TO YOUR BEST EVERY DAY!
STEP 1: AWARENESS
You will complete a four-day food intake protocol and INSCYD Performance Profile Assessment on the bike or running. This process is kicked off with a 15 minute call with a coach to clarify your goals in this process and ensure your understanding of the protocols.
STEP 2: CONNECTION
You will receive a detailed report with nutrition and training recommendations including how to improve your ability to utilize fats, meet the demands of intensity and endurance training so you achieve your goals and improve your VO2 max for health and performance. You will have the latest research and resources to take action and create change.
STEP 3: TAKE ACTION
We will go over the report in a one-to-one 90 minute consult to discuss your specific nutrition fuelling needs, challenges and recommendations. From there you put it into action and see the results!
